South Louisiana has a flavor and flare like nothing else in the United States. A weave of Creole, Cajun and Celtic mixes that much like a good gumbo, has released all the spices of life. Come join us on the Bayou. Although Highland Games on the Bayou may be an oxymoron, we assure you that you will have a grand time. The Lamar Dixon Expo Center is a fabulous facility that provides all the amenities and shelter from the weather for our participants and audience. We invite you to join us in the rich Celtic tradition of the festival and fair and to spread the wealth of knowledge about Celtic Culture and history to both those who know little and those who can’t seem to learn enough. The Swamp Celts Festival and Highland Games requests your presence at our games on April 1, 2006 at the Lamar Dixon Center in Gonzales. We ask your clan or association members to come and set up your booth and educate the masses on Celtic Culture, traditions, history and influence and leadership on the United States of America.
